TOP has implemented its years of knowledge in the plant-based domain to develop this plant-based burger from scratch. The most notable being the emulsion technology and flavour technology.
The emulsion technology that was developed by TOP made it possible to replace the palm fat that is commonly used in many plant-based burgers with an emulsion based on plant oils. Not only does this make the plant-based burger healthier, it also contributes to an improved juiciness and flavour profile. To reach the final flavour profile, TOP has experimented with hundreds of flavours.
Furthermore, TOP has set-up a pilot production line to produce the plant-based burgers on industrial scale. Making sure that slight improvements or adjustments in the recipe can still be implemented in the industrial process.
