Everybody knows milk, but not everyone loves milk. In this case, this plant-based milk cannot be ignored by anyone who delights in the indulgent white drink.
This plant-based milk is different than other plant milks, as it’s purpose is to truly mimic milk. It’s recognizable by the unique taste of this milk.
Additionally, two spin-off products have been developed: a plant-based barista milk and a plant-based chocolate milk. Each with its own extraordinary properties.
The barista milk boasts the best plant-based foam, paired with a creamy taste. While the chocolate milk is considered to be better than dairy chocolate milks, due to its chocolatey taste and indulgent mouthfeel.
The combination of these three milks was not an easy feat to develop for TOP. One would assume that you first develop the milk, from which you alter the recipe to produce a barista and chocolate milk. But this was not the case.
Creating the milk was a matter of finding a neutral base, on which to build the flavour and creaminess. All while retaining a white colour and without introducing any off-flavours. Only with the vast knowledge of TOP in the realm of plant proteins was this possible.
The amazing foam of the barista milk was only possible with a different protein source and additional knowledge of foam technology. The experts at TOP cracked this code, combining the protein technology and foam technology to create this stable foam.
The chocolate milk was one of the most delicious projects that TOP has had the pleasure of working on. Having to taste chocolate milk every week was a true delight. The expertise of TOP in stabilization and shelf life testing made it possible to get a stable chocolate milk, which can be consumed without having to shake the bottle.
